TRUNKING SYSTEMS
The trunking system ‘S5 line’ has been considered Sati Italia’s core business product for more than 50 years. The S5 line distinguishes itself from most of the competing products due to the particular interlocking design of the straight element.
This makes it easy to join a straight element to other straight elements or, at any point, to other fittings. The interlocking system is a Sati Italia patent which has the following benefits for the installer:
• no need for any additional joints to connect two trunking elements;
• cost saving;
• time saving.
When straight elements need to be shortened, as for example when working to specific measurements, the joining of two straight elements and a third straight element, and/or fitting, is achieved with the use of the linear GTO joint.
The pattern on the trunking and the moulding of the accessories creates a continuous border on the top section of the sides. This design stiffens the structure, making it more suitable for supporting heavy loads. The border also allows for the covers to snap on, making them self-supporting.
Electrical continuity is intrinsically guaranteed by all the components of the S5 system. The grounding device can be seen as a circle in relief; it is found on the structure and on the lids and it is marked with the special earth symbol.
